As a continuation to my previous post, which was a very simplistic take on body shapes, I would like to share ideas of smart ways to value different body formats! Namely by presenting you with a variety of garment shapes of tops, bottoms and swimwear you can choose from to aid you in balancing your proportions. They will add elegance to your specific shape and you will no longer feel like you have nothing to wear, even though your closet might be stuffed to the brim.

Remember that it’s “contra-natura” to go against diversity ...nowadays it makes more sense to cultivate body-positivity, then to force ourselves into one stereotype of silhouette and get ourselves all OCD about what we eat and such. Being all obsessed about exactly what it is we ingest and constantly on the lookout for the extra calories and how to avoid them, isn't a sign of mental health at all, actually it’s quite the opposite!

In fact, it's considered by the medical community to be a pathological mental condition, brought on by social pressure and the inability to ignore it, without being completely reckless!

Back to the wonderful diversity of bodies, women can be found in, and the clothes best suited to them...

The images in the gallery will teach you how to evaluate what tops, bottoms and swimsuits are more suitable for your measurements.

Just imagine...now you can actually have fun picking out and matching your outfits… instead of dreading it when you need to leave the house.

When you finally come to the conclusion that nobody is perfect, loving your body the way it is, will become easier and easier and so will getting dressed !

Always remember and repeat to yourself, if you have a stubborn ego: "women don’t have to be skinny like a rod to be happy and look their best!". That’s rubbish that we’ve been fed over the past decades , I mean you can be skinny by nature, nevertheless if it’s hard to keep up, it’s probably not worth sucking the lemon so hard, because you’ll just end up miserable, probably with a severe vitamin deficiency and making everyone around you miserable as a result of your bad mood.

Just saying…be wise, be generous and forgiving with yourselves girls, no need to compete with Gisele Bundchen! She’s way out of our league.

Just kidding!

Anyway, back to the subject, mind my deviation! If you pick the right garments with the right proportions, shapes, colours and even textures, you'll be able to add huge value to your assets and taht's how I can help you get on your way to a healthy and positive self-image, no matter what size you wear! I’m, in no way, shape or form advocating that you chose to neglect your bodily health if you are indeed obese, due to poor eating habits and a lack of exercise...I have to reiterate that overweight or skinny people can both be healthy, but there are also cases that demonstrate otherwise, it all depends on your idiossincracies. Girls there’s no excuse to neglect yourselves!

But if you just have a bit of a muffin top, be happy to know there are many ways of concealing it elegantly without shaming and completely obliterating it! Just be happy with what God gave you, and respect it in the healthiest way for you and the people in your surroundings, by being less judgemental towards yourself, and therefore less judgemental towards others!
